After the excitement and interest generated last year with Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair’s debut of Bricktown, Justin Pankey is bringing his traveling, rotating LEGO® city display back in 2019. The display features various layouts created by Pankey. The builds offer a colorful, creativity-inspiring experience for both children and adults alike. Don’t miss these displays all week at the Fair!

The Fair welcomes back the Firefighter Show this year, offering kids the chance to see what it takes to be a firefighter! Shows will be Tuesday, Aug. 24, through Saturday, Aug. 28, with three shows daily taking place on the children’s stage area near the Fair office.

Kids in the audience will be selected as volunteers! After being fitted in firefighter jacket and helmet, the new trainees are introduced to the audience as their next generation of heroes. When the alarm tones sound calling Engine One to duty, it’s all hands on deck!

Local 4-H youth spend countless hours preparing for the livestock shows and auctions that take place during Fair Week; it represents the culmination of so much hard work, and it also helps to fund many of these youth’s future educational pursuits.
